The branch release/1.7.xhttps://git.trustedfirmware.org/TF-M/trusted-firmware-m.git/log/?h=release/1.7.x has been created indicating the start of the release process and features freeze. RC1 tag will follow after successful run of the basic tests.
Let me remind that the code is not frozen, and development can be continued on the main branch.

Here it the list of RC1 know defects for your reference, to be fixed in RC2:
1. Outdated introduction in documentation 2. Compile warning on gnuarm 11.2 3. FIH tool test failed on AN521 4. Kconfig system defects 5. MUSCA_S1_GCC_1_CRYPTO_Release_BL2 run failed in v1.7 RC1 6. FIH boot failure on AN521 7. Doorbell API should be disabled for base config 8. FWU partition missed erasing flash when initiating a new FWU process

All defects found in RC1 are fixed and new release candidate was tagged with TF-Mv1.7.0-RC2https://git.trustedfirmware.org/TF-M/trusted-firmware-m.git/tag/?h=TF-Mv1.7.0-RC2. I will notify platform owners of RC2 sanity test results later today to check platforms with confidence.
