Is 11.2-2022.02 the recommended compiler version?
I saw TF-M v1.8 states: " GNU Arm compiler version *10-2020-q4-major* has an issue in CMSE support. The bug is reported in `here https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=99157`__. Select other GNU Arm compiler versions instead.
GNU Arm compiler version greater and equal than *11.3.Rel1* has a linker issue in syscall. Select other GNU Arm compiler versions instead. "

Hi Brian,
11.2-2022.02 is supported. We suggest using GNU Arm compiler v7.3.1+, except for those we listed in the note, please see details in the getting started guideshttps://tf-m-user-guide.trustedfirmware.org/getting_started/index.html.
Best Wishes, Summer

Hi Summer,
The v1.8 release notes say "GNU Arm compiler version greater and equal than *11.3.Rel1* has a linker issue in syscall." But the latest notes for v1.8.1 seem to indicate that any newer compiler version is okay. Was there some TFM code update to workaround the linker issue?

Hi Archanaa,
Yes, we will support. I downloaded GCC12.3.Rel1 and use it to build tfm, found there is some environment issue. I will try to fix it and hope GCC12.3.Rel1 will be supported as soon as possible.
