We are pleased to announce the formal release of Trusted Firmware-A version 2.7, Trusted Firmware-A Tests version 2.7 , Hafnium version 2.7 and TF-A OpenCI Scripts 2.7 Releases now involve the tagging of multiple sub repositories.

These went live on 1st June 2022.

Notable Features of the Version 2.7 Release across all repositories include:

• Poseidon CPU Library
• Branch Record Buffer Extension (FEAT_BRBE) for Non-secure World support (Armv9.2)
• Statistical Profiling Extension (FEAT_SPEV1P2) support (Armv8.7)

• Extended Cache Index (FEAT_CCIDX) support (Armv8.3)

• Spectre Branch History Buffer (BHB) mitigations
• New Architectural Features Detection Mechanism (Experimental Feature)
• System Memory Management Unit (SMMU) Granule Protection Checks (GPC) for Secure and Non-secure World transactions
• Measured Boot Driver improvements
• Threat Model Documentation updates
• Hafnium Firmware Framework for Arm A-profile (FF-A) v1.1 continued support
• Hafnium Memory Tagging Extension (MTE) stack tagging support
• FF-A Secure Partition Manager (SPM) operating at EL3 added (Experimental Feature)
• Eight (8) new platforms added
• Thirty-Eight (38) platforms updated
