Hm, since the LCDIF CSL register is lumped together with the PXP, you could try setting the SA bit for the PXP peripheral.
Thank you for thinking along with us. We have tried this, and even putting all masters and slaves in Secure mode, but to no avail. We are consulting NXP now.
